Bohinj Mountain Dreams is a family-owned pair of two lovely holiday apartments situated in Bohinjska Bistrica, on the shore of the Bistrica River just before its confluence with the Sava Bohinjka River.
Surrounded by mountain peaks of Triglav National Park, the apartments are a stunning blend of tradition, charm, and luxury. Furnished in natural materials by local craftsmen and thoughtfully decorated to provide you with the warm feel of a home away from home, Bohinj Mountain Dreams apartments feature an impressive range of feel-good and tech-savvy amenities for an unforgettable stay.

Looking back, living now – A House of Soles
We built Bohinj Mountain Dreams on a site that breathes tradition, craftsmanship and history. At the turn of the 20th century, a cobbler lived and worked in this house. In areas like Bohinj, shoes and boots were indispensable, and the cobbler’s workshop was a gathering spot for villagers to exchange stories and news.
Aleš and Mateja, the current owners of the house, greet every visitor with a smile and a helping hand, sharing with guests not only their house, terrace and garden, but – like the old cobbler – their hearts.
Bohinj Mountains Dreams was and is indeed – a house of soles and souls.
Our Mountain Dreams
Bohinj Mountain Dreams seeks to capture the spirit of the old cobbler’s home as a place where everyone is welcome, and every guest is treated as part of the story. When walking into their apartments, Energy or Serenity, guests are embraced by a space where it is okay to take a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect – with themselves, each other, and nature.
